In cities with a Chinatown, weekend mornings bring dim sum carts or order sheets, and lines form early at the most popular spots in Chicago; walk-ins are standard and reservations are uncommon outside large banquet restaurants. Regional labels matter: Cantonese, Sichuan, Hunan, Shanghainese and Taiwanese kitchens cook very differently, so a restaurant's stated region is a better guide to the food than the word "Chinese" alone. Some smaller restaurants in Illinois are BYOB with no corkage fee; call ahead to confirm. A tip of 15-20% is customary for table service but not expected at counter-order takeout. Spice level, MSG and allergen questions are normal to ask before ordering, and most kitchens are happy to leave an ingredient out or tone down the heat if you mention it when ordering rather than after the food arrives.

The business lists hours on 6 days of the week. The most common schedule is 11:30 am–2:30 pm. It is closed on Monday. Chicago is in Illinois, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Chicago follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Great food and predictable portions. The only negative about the food is the sweetness. Some dishes just taste far too sweet when they're not expected to be. Otherwise, service could be better and more rice could be served with entrees.

Came here from a TikTok recommendation and I wanted to like it so much but it was just OK to me. The service is really amazing though the food came out quickly, and the woman serving us was really kind.

Although it’s labeled as a Chinese restaurant offering Mandarin, Szechuan, and Cantonese cuisine, we specifically came for Korean-Chinese dishes like Jajangmyeon and Jjamppong β€” and it absolutely delivered. First of all, the noodles are homemade, and you can really taste the difference. The texture was fresh and perfectly cooked. The portions are very generous. I ordered the Jajangmyeon and also tried the Jjamppong. The Jjamppong broth had great depth β€” rich, spicy, and full-bodied. It had a generous variety of seafood with large pieces, and it wasn’t watery or greasy. There wasn’t oil floating on top, just a well-balanced, flavorful soup. The Jajangmyeon was excellent as well. The sauce was balanced and not overpowering. If I had to suggest one small improvement, it could have had slightly more pork, as the vegetables and onions were a bit more prominent. Still, in terms of flavor, it’s a solid 5 out of 5. Another highlight was the complimentary tea service. Along with the meal, they bring a teapot (around a liter) of hot tea for the table, which is a very nice touch. They also include two fortune cookies and two large oat-style cookies as a courtesy β€” small details that elevate t

Good selections of Korean style chinese dishes. Full flavors and fresh ingredients. Excellent JJAJANGMYEON (black bean noodles seen in K-dramas). Bit old interior. Prom attentive professional services!. Rare gem in the city. Love to go back!!!!
